In this section you will see some updates about my time with my new console (Nintendo DSi) and more!

It's been a month and a half with my Nintendo DSi. I've learnt to
better customise the modded version, even made a custom theme (Professor Layton related!).
Yes, I've started
Professor Layton and the Lost Future (or "Unwound future" in the US, for some reason). It's such a good game??? I'm 10 hours in, and it's just lovely. The music is simply fantastic, I've been playing it on the piano and ukulele. Highly recommend you check out this series if you haven't. Personally I had only played it for around one hour on my cousin's nintendo when I was a child. Still, it's impressive how much I remember from that brief gameplay: the plot, the locations, the characters.. they're all so familiar! And they bring me a great
sense of comfort and ease. It's a beautiful experience so far.
I've also been playing my nintendo switch too!
Tomodachi Life has released a demo.. and I've been making so many miis! You can check out some I made here on the
tomodachi share website!

Hi again! Getting a nintendo DSi was the
best decision I've made in a while. It gave me a child-like wonder, an excitement to just dive into the many games this system has to offer.
My current favourites?
⭐ Elite Beat Agents is so much fun! I'm also playing
Plants vs Zombies, a total classic which I loved as a kid.
I'm also playing
Brain Training on the daily: I suck at maths, truly. But I'm getting faster with simple calculations and stuff. And it's just really fun.
I'm also getting quite good at
Mario Kart DS. And by "quite good" I mean I don't always come last anymore. Maybe like. 6th place or something.. SOMETIMES I WIN TOO, OK?? Gimme some time and I'll get there!
The battery lasts way longer than I expected, around two/three days, and charges quite fast. I am very happy. While I have acquired many games, I'm only playing a few at a time, so I don't get overwhelmed!
Well, I'll go play a bit now! See ya! 💗

Hello! I've
had my DSi for a couple of days!

I bought it second hand off of
Vinted, and it's in pretty good conditions especially for 45€. The microphone doesn't work though, and the R button gets stuck every time you press it. I'm
unsure about opening up the console and fixing those parts. We'll see. For the time being, I'm just playing without using the mic, and manually pulling up the R button.
Modding the DSi: a few resources.
-You'll need: an
SD card (or microSD with SD adaptor), a
computer, and an
SD adaptor so you can read it on the computer.
-This is the
video tutorial I used:
tutorial by Gamen4Bros. Simple to follow, gets the job done.
-Here's a
link where you can find
ROMs for all the nintendo games (and more). Do with that what you will. The website is safe and pop-up free.
"Decrypted" is for emulators, and
"encrypted" is for your physical nintendo.

What am I playing?
I've been truly enjoying
Cooking Mama, MySims Kingdom, and Winx: Mission Enchantix. I'm weirdly disappointed by
AC Wild World: maybe I just still have to get into it? But it seems like there's not much to do. I've only played one or two hours though, so... who knows! I loved AC New Horizons, which is why I expected to get into ACWW right away. It is a different experience, for sure, and also a different time in my life and in society in general: ACNH came out during the pandemic. Whole different setting.

I have recently purchased a
Nintendo DSi! My first

ever DS. It hasn't arrived yet (hopefully it will soon)! As a kid I
always wanted a DS, but we already had other devices to play games on. Now I'm an adult. And that means 😈
I can finally buy myself a DS. 😈
I plan on
modding the console and I've already... um... acquired some legal copies of a bunch of games. My only modding experience was with the Nintendo Wii. We'll see.
The games I currently have, um, saved on my pc are a few
Cooking Mamas, Professor Laytons, Mario games, Animal Crossing, MySims..
If you have any
suggestions for DS or GBA games, let me know!
I'll keep you posted on this new adventure with my DSi!
